Roles & responsibilities
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Transporting Goods: Drive light vehicle car to deliver items on time.
Loading and Unloading: Pack items into the vehicle safely and unload them at each stop.
Route Planning: Use GPS and navigation tools to find the best paths and avoid delays.
Customer Service: Greet clients politely, answer questions, and handle complaints.
Verification and Records: Collect signatures, scan barcodes, and keep delivery logs updated.
Handling Payments: Collect money or process digital payments when required.
Vehicle Maintenance: Check fuel, tire pressure, and oil levels, and report mechanical issues.
Key RequirementsValid License: Hold an appropriate driver’s license or commercial permit for the vehicle type.
Clean Record: Maintain a safe driving history without major violations.
Physical Stamina: Lift and carry heavy packages and sit or walk for long periods.
Time Management: Follow strict schedules to meet daily delivery goals.
